For those who would like to walk in
Frank McCourt's footsteps, the St. Mary's
Integratef Development Programme have
have organised an Angela's Ashes
walking tour which is conducted by former FCA company sergeant Michael O'Donnell.
Approved by Frank himself, the tour
features locations featured in the text of
Angela's Ashes and is a vivid social
commentary of Limerick then and now.
The walk begins daily at 2.30pm from St
mary's Action Centre, 44, Nicholas street
and lasts 90 minutes. Places you'll see
are: Suttin's Coals, Roden Street, Vizes
Field, 4, Hartstonge Street, Leamy's
School, The Dispensary and more. For
