Limerick launch of charity single Why?

Ex-boyband singer Greg Ryan and Philip Scanlon have had a hectic few months and it looks set to continue.

Last Friday marked the Limerick launch of charity single Why? at the Cornmarket Bar.

National celebrities like Bryan McFadden, Ray Shah, Nicky Byrne and Keith Duffy joined Greg ,for a night of exciting entertainment.

Greg, who used to be in the band ZOO but is now going solo, performed the upcoming single and other songs from his repertoire.

All the proceeds will go straight to the Bluebell ABA School for children with Autism.

After a champagne reception there was a guest speaker talking about autism and a video played.

Greg and his friends Philip Scanlon are very involved with Irish Autism Action. They want more people to understand autism and the lack of funding for the education of these very special children.

Why? was written by Philip Scanlon and is dedicated to his autistic daughter Kayleigh, who attends Bluebell ABA school.

He hopes to help his daughter and children like her by raising money through the single. It goes on sale on March 30 and will cost 3 euro
