Dress designer Fiona Whyte launched her fashion show for charity this week.
The Limerick designer will be auctioning a custom designer wedding dress, and organisers are hopeful that over €50,000 for Crumlin Street Children's Hospital in Dublin will be raised to fund medical equipment for sick children.
Ms Whyte said she is thrilled that the charity she has a personal connection with will receive this vital funding.
"We're really hopeful we're going to raise this much. We're definitely getting there; everyone is giving what they can," said Ms Whyte. And she will be making more than one dream come true on the night.

Ten year-old Tamara Afrin from Clonmel, Co Tipperary, who suffers from thyroid hormone resistance will be Cinderella for the night. She will arrive in a chauffeured limousine, along with a Garda motorcycle escort and she and her family will enjoy red carpet treatment at the Clarion and dinner at Harris' Bar and Brasserie.
Munster's European Cup winner Gerry Flannery will be escorting her down the catwalk as she opens the show in a special dress designed by Fiona. Another highlight for Tamara will be meeting Miss Ireland Sarah Morrissey.
Also up for grabs on the night is a date with Miss Ireland, Sarah Morrissey in Aubars; jewellery worth €1,500 from Keanes. Limerick School of Art and Design will hold a kids project sponsored by Bentley's on the night and modelled by pupils from the Expressive Arts school.
