Limerick City & County Council has announced that an information evening relating to the proposed N21 Adare Western Approach Improvement Scheme will take place on Tuesday next (15th September 2015).
The proposed scheme extends from the R519 Ballingarry Road to the L1422 Blackabbey Road over an approximate distance of 1.3km on the N21 National Primary Road.
The proposed scheme comprises pavement rehabilitation, drainage, kerbing, footpaths and safety improvements and the Pavement Improvement Scheme is being proposed to address inadequacies with the existing road including road pavement and footpaths and inadequate drainage issues leaving the road prone to flooding.
Funding has been approved for the project by Transport Infrastructure Ireland, formerly the National Roads Authority (NRA).
Members of the public are invited to the Kilmoreen Suite in the Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare on Tuesday 15th September 2015 from 2pm to 8pm where drawings of the proposed scheme will be available for inspection.
Representatives from Limerick City & County Council and their Consultants will also be present at the information evening to outline the proposals. For those unable to attend on Tuesday, information on the proposed Improvement Scheme will also be available to view on Limerick City & County Council’s website.
