Munster, Ireland and Lions fly-half, Ronan OGara, has committed to a new international agreement that Ireland see him play in Ireland for another two seasons until 2013.
Following the recent announcement by Donncha O’callaghan signing a new contract, OGara’s decision to stay in Ireland and play with Munster is further good news as the IRFU continue to look at keeping players in the provincial teams.
Similarity with his Munster colleague O’Callaghan, OGara’s career has seen him win almost every honor in the game and became only the third player in Irish rugby history to reach 100 caps.
He has won four triple crowns, an RBS Six Nations Championship and a Grand Slam in 2009 and two Heineken Cups with Munster in his career. This is reinforced by his position as the record international scorer for Ireland and selected for three British and Irish Lions tours .. .
A day that would have started disappointingly when he was omitted from the starting Ireland XV ended with the news that Ronan O’Gara had signed on the dotted, a contract that ses him commit to Munster for a further two seasons. …
