| On October 3rd 1691 the Treaty of Limerick was signed between the Williamites and the Jacobites forces following a long siege of the city. It was reputedly signed on a stone which became known as the Treaty Stone. This stone, which still stands, became and remains the symbol of the city itself. This cold-cast bronze piece is an exact replica of the Treaty Stone correct in every detail. Mounted on a mahogany timber base it measures 9.5 inches width by 7 inches high.
